Time:

• Meet @ 4p dressed and ready to tune at Flowers Clubhouse.
• Line up at 505p – Step off at 5:08p – Process playing to the roundabout and done by 517p

Location:

• Flowers Plantation Welcome Center @ 120 Flowers Pkwy, Clayton, NC 27527

Parking:

• There is a parking area near the welcome center – it’s quite large. If questioned by staff – tell them you’re “with the bagpipe and drum band”.

Uniform:

• Class A. Black Jackets or Black sweaters. White shirts worn under jackets/sweaters with the striped band tie. BRING YOUR RAIN CAPE if you have one please. If you don’t have a cape – some will be on hand.

Details:

• *Snare Drummers – please consult with Michael before showing up as we will not be bringing the Premier snare drums out (they have brand new heads and rain will deteriorate their lifespan. We have a limited number of the Peal snare drums as we sold 6 to a Fire band in Huntsville, AL.
• *Tenor Drummers – please bring your band issued Tenor drum – no Hosbilt tenors. If you don’t have a band issued tenor drum please stand down. Andrew, bring your bass.
• Pipers – please check your hemp on your tuning pins and joints as cold weather causes shrinkage of the hemp which leads to things coming loose as a goose.
• We will be playing Scotland the Brave, Rowan Tree and At Long Last – Green Hills, Battle’s Over – G5 March Medley just like we rehearsed yesterday in the gym.
